VfL Bochum is being sued by goalkeeper Riemann

The previous family leader might no longer participate in training with the Bochum specialists following a May occurrence. He's currently contesting this decision in a legal capacity.

- VfL Bochum is being sued by goalkeeper Riemann

The conflict involving VfL Bochum and Manuel Riemann has some legal implications. The goalkeeper has taken legal action against the Bundesliga football team. As reported by the labor court in Bochum, Riemann is demanding to join the professional team's training sessions.

Before the season finale, VfL had suspended Riemann with pay, right before the relegation match against Fortuna Düsseldorf. They cited "unresolvable disagreements regarding team matters" as the explanation. It's been reported that Riemann had frequent disagreements with his teammates. However, the club claims this wasn't a "suspension or punishment."

In the meantime, the team has signed two new goalkeepers, Patrick Drewes and Timo Horn. Riemann's contract extends until the summer of 2025. VfL is giving Riemann the option to join the U21 team's training or conduct one-on-one training sessions with one of the goalkeeping coaches.

The conciliation hearing for this matter is scheduled for next Friday (12:20 PM). As per "Funke Medien", Riemann hasn't agreed to the club's proposal for an amicable settlement yet.

Despite the legal dispute, Manuel Riemann expresses his desire to participate in the German Bundesliga team's training sessions with VfL Bochum. The upcoming season of the Bundesliga will feature VfL Bochum, with Riemann potentially joining the squad or participating in separate training sessions as per the club's arrangement.
