Bundesliga - VfB Stuttgart training kicks off on January 2
Bundesliga soccer team VfB Stuttgart will return to training on January 2 after a short winter break. Coach Sebastian Hoeneß explained on Friday that the club will not be holding a training camp at the start of the new year because the time frame is too short. On Sunday (7.30 p.m./DAZN), the surprise third-placed team will face German record champions FC Bayern before a home game against FC Augsburg on Wednesday to round off the first part of the season.
VfB's first competitive match after the winter break is at Borussia Mönchengladbach on January 14.
