German League - VfB Stuttgart has a practice match against Athletic Bilbao.

VfB Stuttgart won't be playing a trial match against Spanish first division team Athletic Bilbao for the new season. Athletic Bilbao is heading to Stuttgart Arena on August 10th for the season opener which was announced on Tuesday. The game will commence at 3:30 PM. Bilbao was victorious in the Spanish Cup last season and placed 6th in the league.

VfB Stuttgart, however, will spend a week in Japan this summer for international marketing of the Bundesliga. The Champions' League participant will be finishing a part of its preparation for the upcoming season in East Asian country from July 26th to August 1st. A week after the match against Bilbao, the Supercup against champions Bayer Leverkusen is set for August 17th.
