- VfB manager Hoeneß believes Silas remains part of the team.

Based on coach Sebastian Hoeneß's statement, it seems highly unlikely that winger Silas will depart from VfB Stuttgart this summer. "I'm leaning heavily towards Silas donning our jersey again," the coach mentioned post-match after the 3:3 draw (2:1) against 1. FSV Mainz 05 on the second Bundesliga matchday. Silas wasn't part of the squad for this game, and he hadn't seen action in Stuttgart's first two competitive matches of the new season. The team's sporting director, Fabian Wohlgemuth, disclosed that they had talked about potentially transferring the 25-year-old on Friday, but nothing came of it. With the transfer window still open in countries like Austria, Portugal, or Turkey, Silas's future is still up in the air. However, Hoeneß thinks if Silas stays, he'll get "plenty of chances to contribute positively to our team." Silas joined Stuttgart from Paris FC in the summer of 2019 and quickly gained fan support. Regrettably, he's slipped down the ranks recently at the second-place team.

The transfer window in countries like Austria, Portugal, or Turkey provides an opportunity for Silas's future to be decisively shaped. With Hoeneß's belief in Silas's abilities and his intention to give him many chances, the future of the winger at VfB Stuttgart seems promising.
