VfB hopes for a good start to the end of the year in Frankfurt

Buoyed by their victory against Borussia Dortmund before the international break, VfB Stuttgart are heading into the end-of-year spurt in the Bundesliga. The Swabians visit Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday (18:30/Sky). Both teams have a lot of quality, said VfB coach Sebastian Hoeneß full of anticipation. It was a justified Saturday evening game.

Stuttgart go into matchday 12 in third place in the table, while the in-form Frankfurt have won six and drawn twice in their last eight competitive games. Hoeneß may call on VfB strikers Serhou Guirassy and Deniz Undav to start together for the first time this season.

VfB Stuttgart, having secured a win against Borussia Dortmund prior to the break, is eager to build on their momentum in the Bundesliga, particularly in their upcoming match against Eintracht Frankfurt. Egyptian striker Serhou Guirassy and Deniz Undav, both key players for Stuttgart, might make their first joint start in the Bundesliga this season.
