The Rhine near Karlsruhe is open for ship traffic again. Shipping was temporarily halted on Tuesday, but on Wednesday morning, the Waterways and Shipping Authority announced that the blockade had been lifted. This came after the water level fell below the critical mark of 7.50 meters.
