Highest German Judicial Authority - Verdict following the slaying of four-year-old Fabian.
Legal confirmation for the murder case of the four-year-old Fabian in Barsinghausen near Hannover is now final. The appeal process legal review conducted by the Federal Court of Justice (BGH) in Karlsruhe failed to find any issues that would favor the defendants. The Hanover Regional Court passed down a life sentence to both the 29-year-old mother and the 34-year-old stepfather back in December. This sentence is the maximum one, which means any chance of early release from prison after 15 years is unlikely.
As per the ruling, both defendants had been neglecting and mistreating the boy and his six-year-old sister, alleging "educational reasons." The tragic event happened in early 2023. They fatally battered the four-year-old with a meat tenderizer. Sadly, he passed away three days later due to internal hemorrhaging and a skull-brain injury. Disturbed by Fabian's imminent, painful demise, they knew their relationship could not survive the traumatic ordeal. This Polish woman met the 34-year-old German-Polish male on TikTok and by June 2022, she relocated her young son and her six-year-old daughter to Lower Saxony.
