Football - Veljkovic of Bremen is included in Serbia's team for the European Championship.
There is only one Bundesliga player representing the Serbian football national team in the upcoming European Championship, and he's defender Milos Veljkovic from Werder Bremen. But you'll find three players who've spent years with Eintracht Frankfurt. They are Luka Jovic (now at AC Milan), Filip Kostic (Juventus Turin), and Mijat Gacinovic (AEK Athens). According to coach Dragan Stojkovic, they'll be crucial to help Serbia progress.
Serbia will be up against England on June 16, followed by Slovenia on June 20, and conclude with Denmark on June 25. The offensive line-up sees Dusan Vlahovic standing out. Vlahovic, a striker for Juventus Turin, was the second best goal-scorer in Serie A with an impressive 16 goals, just behind Lautaro Martinez (24).
