Post-congestion, the path is visible once more. - Vehicle Sheds Oil Slick - A215 Remains Shutted Till Midday

due to an unintentional oil leak from a truck on the A7, the northern part of A215 leading towards Bordesholm is temporarily shut down until midday. Officials from the Neumünster Police Department's communication team stated that cleanup efforts are estimated to wrap up by 14:00 hours. On the bright side, the A7 resumed operations north of Neumünster since 10:00 AM, having been blocked earlier that morning.

As per police information, the truck driver missed the initial oil spill and only came to a halt upon leaving A7 for A215.

Here's some advice for motorists bound for Kiel: they should consider leaving the A7 at the junction immediately following the blockade on A215 at the Bordesholm rest area. From there, they should make a left onto the L49, then proceed to the L318 en route to Kiel, and finally reconnect with A215 at the Blumenthal interchange.

The temporary closure of the northern part of A215 due to the oil leak has resulted in significant traffic congestion on alternative routes leading towards Bordesholm. Despite resuming operations on the A7 north of Neumünster, motorists may still encounter delay due to the diverted traffic caused by the incident.
