A biker faced deadly consequences in an accident close to Selters, in the Limburg-Weilburg district. The 53-year-old rider was heading from Niederselters towards Oberbrechen around afternoon hours when he collided with a 34-year-old driver coming from the opposite direction, as per the authorities' report. The conflict resulted in both vehicles crashing on the federal road B8, leading the motorcyclist to fall off his bike. Regrettably, he passed away right at the incident site.
The reason behind the clash between the car and the motorbike wasn't evident initially. Authorities summoned an expert to pinpoint the accident's cause. The B8 was temporarily blocked for both lanes while the investigation ensued.
The expert's investigation revealed no clear cause for the collision between the car and the motorbike. Despite wearing a helmet, the impact from the accident severely damaged the motorcycle.
