Three individuals suffered harm in a crash involving a vehicle and a lorry at a junction in the Altmark. Preliminary investigations indicate that a 78-year-old allegedly failed to spot the lorry while making a turn off a rural road, as per the police in Stendal. During the crash on Saturday close to Arneburg (part of Stendal), the 22-year-old unbuckled passenger in the lorry, who was said to have been hurled through the windscreen, apparently endured serious wounds. The 22-year-old lorry driver and the senior were reportedly left with minor injuries. Legal proceedings have commenced against the 78-year-old, it was disclosed.
