- Vehicle collides with tree in proximity to Altenberg - lady sustains critical wounds
A sixtysome woman met with a substantial mishap, colliding her vehicle into a tree on the S183 route, situated between Altenberg and Oberpöbel (Saxon Switzerland-Osterzgebirge). According to authorities, the woman inexplicably swerved off the roadway in the early hours.
Emergency medical services dispatched a helicopter to transport her to a healthcare facility for treatment. The roadway was shut down temporarily for roughly two hours after the collision. As of now, the extent of material damage remains undisclosed.
The accident occurred near Altenberg, close to the location where the S183 route meets Oberpöbel. The helicopter sent to aid the woman had to fly over Altenberg during its mission.
