Three individuals encountered harm in a vehicular mishap close to Meiningen. On a Tuesday evening, a 36-year-old gent was navigating his vehicle on the incorrect side of the road due to the dim sun, as per a police representative's statement.
This led to a head-on crash with a car that the 18-year-old lady was operating. The 46-year-old male companion of the former endured serious wounds, while both drivers experienced minimal harm. Both the 46-year-old and the 18-year-old were transported to a medical facility.
The L1140 roadway between Rohr and Meiningen was completely obstructed for over an hour post-accident. The 36-year-old's automobile was subsequently hauled away.
The authorities suggested utilizing alternative routes for commuters due to the closure of the L1140 road caused by the vehicular mishap, affecting transport and telecommunications in the area. Following the accident, the 46-year-old and the 18-year-old had to communicate with their families and medical personnel via telecommunications from the hospital.
