- Vandalized playground apparatus loses its functional value
The gear on a park in Rövershagen, a sector of Rostock, is found inoperable due to graffiti. Law enforcement officials suspect this vandalism took place during the night on Sunday, as they reported. Consequently, every piece of equipment needs to be disassembled and swapped out. The authorities estimate the financial damage to surpass 50,000 euros.
The vandalism also affected other facilities in the park, including benches and waste bins. The maintenance team has been instructed to clean and repair these areas as well, adding to the overall cost.
