Fires - Vacation home near Poseritz on the island of Rügen is on fire

On the island of Rügen, a vacation house was on fire near the settlement of Poseritz (District of Vorpommern-Rügen). The house, according to the police, was located in the middle of the forest. When the emergency services arrived on Saturday evening, the house had already been in large parts in flames. The cause of the fire is currently unknown. 80 emergency responders were reportedly involved by the police. The damage amounted to approximately 250,000 Euros.

The vacation home, sadly, experienced multiple fires, causing significant damage. The tranquil setting of the County of Vorpommern-Rügen, specifically Poseritz, was disrupted by this unfortunate incident. Authorities from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, including the local police, are investigating the origin of these fires on Rügen.
