Up to 34 degrees: New week brings summer heat back

In Rhineland-Palatinate and in Saarland, it is expected to be extremely hot next week with much sunshine according to German weather service meteorologists.

Radiant sunshine and up to 34 degrees: In Rheinland-Pfalz and Saarland, the summer heat is noticeable in the new week. Already on Sunday, the clouds become increasingly rare with highest temperatures between 23 and 27 degrees, as the German Weather Service (DWD) reported. For Monday, meteorologists expect 26 to 30 degrees. It will remain sunny or partly cloudy and dry. On Tuesday, the next temperature increase is expected: According to DWD, the sun will shine with maximum temperatures of 30 to 34 degrees.

On Wednesday, however, it may become uncomfortable: The day starts sunny, but clouds and showers, as well as occasional strong thunderstorms with heavy rain, hail, and gusty winds, are forecast according to the forecast. However, it will still be summery hot with highest temperatures between 29 and 34 degrees.

In Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate, the summer heat persists, with the German Weather Service predicting temperatures up to 34 degrees on Tuesday. Despite the potential discomfort of storms and showers on Wednesday, temperatures will still remain warm, reaching between 29 and 34 degrees.
