Unknowns scratch over 100 cars in one night

Over 100 cars were damaged in Goettingen. The police are investigating. The motive is still unclear.

At least 104 vehicles were vandalized in Göttingen. Overnight Saturday into Sunday, the paint on some cars parked in the western part of the city was partially scratched off down to the primer, police reported. The exact damage and the motive are still unclear.

The vehicle owners reportedly contacted the police throughout Sunday. There may be more victims than currently known. Further information was not immediately available. The investigation is ongoing.

The vandalized vehicles were primarily from different parts of Göttingen, including Lower Saxony. The city of Göttingen, situated in Lower Saxony, was left in shock due to this incident.
