Explosion - Unknown persons blow up cigarette vending machine in Sangerhausen
Unknown individuals have destroyed a cigarette vending machine in Sangerhausen. The perpetrators fled after the explosion on Wednesday night, according to the Halle police, with a money box. Numerous cigarette packs and a money box with coin money were left behind by the perpetrators at the scene, as the police reported. The extent of the loot and damage remained unclear initially.
In response to the incident, authorities in Saxony-Anhalt are investigating this as a case of criminal property damage. Despite the destruction, the City of Sangerhausen is planning to replace the cigarette vending machine to maintain public convenience.
