Frankfurt - Unknown persons allegedly pushed man off bridge into Main river

A man was thrown into the Main river in Frankfurt from a bridge. The 59-year-old man was lightly injured, according to the police. Emergency services saw him fall from the Peace Bridge on Sunday evening. He was rescued shortly thereafter. According to the police statement, a man on the other side of the police reportedly told them that two unknown men had suddenly thrown him over the parapet. The man sustained surface injuries and a mild hypothermia. The police are now looking for witnesses and investigating for attempted murder.

The incident occurred in Frankfurt am Main, which is located in the state of Hesse. The Peace Bridge in Frankfurt's RHEIN-MAIN region was the site of the crime. The police are also investigating the incident in Frankfurt, as they believe it could be a case of attempted murder.
