Traffic accidents - Unknown person throws object at car - four injured
Four young men have been injured in a car accident near Nordhorn (Grafschaft Bentheim district). A 23-year-old man was driving his car with three other occupants aged between 21 and 24 on the B213 towards Nordhorn on Tuesday evening when an object hit the windshield of the car, according to the police. The young man then lost control of the vehicle and drove off the road.
The driver was seriously injured and the other young men were slightly injured. All occupants were initially taken to hospital for examination. The police suspect that an unknown person threw a cobblestone from the bridge there onto the road and hit the car. The police are investigating.
