In an apple orchard situated in the Old Country, some mysterious individuals lately plucked and abandoned around 220 kg of Elstar apples from the trees. As a police representative stated, no robbery occurred. The apples were from 22 different trees, leading to around 150 euros worth of loss. Law enforcement suspects these individuals infiltrated the Old Country orchard, located in Hollern-Twielenfleth (Stade district), sometime between August 15th Thursday and August 18th Sunday. Witnesses are being sought by the authorities. The Old Country boasts being one of Germany's most significant apple-producing regions.
