At dawn on Friday, perpetrators blasted an ATM in Tholey, which lies within the St. Wendel district of Saarland. The Saarbrücken Police Headquarters' spokeswoman confirmed that some callers notified authorities about the blast. The machine in question was housed inside a container. Whether the offenders managed to steal anything was initially unknown. Information about the extent of the destruction wasn't known early on that day.
