Unknown individuals commit grave desecration, causing over 50,000 euros in destruction.

Unidentified individuals have caused damage to around 20 graves and taken away grave ornaments within a Heidelberg cemetery, as confirmed by a police representative on Monday. Reportedly, the damage and thefts range from more than 50,000 euros.

Some unidentified persons might have sneaked a vehicle to the cemetery boundary during the night, from Saturday to Sunday, stealing valuable items like vases, statues, lamps, and crosses. In the meantime, authorities are investigating the situation, with key areas including disturbing the peace of the deceased and the occurrence of multiple burglaries.
