Union with Gosens and Trimmel in first game after Fischer
Interim coaching team Marco Grote and Marie-Louise Eta will rely on a tried-and-tested defensive formation in their first match at 1. FC Union Berlin. Central defenders Paul Jaeckel, Robin Knoche and Diogo Leite will be in the starting eleven against FC Augsburg on Saturday (3.30pm/Sky) in the first match after the departure of Urs Fischer. They will be joined at full-back by captain Christopher Trimmel and international Robin Gosens, who became a father for the second time during the week. Andras Schäfer is back in the squad after a long injury lay-off.
