Bundesliga team 1. FC Union Berlin has lent forward Chris Bedia to English League Championship side Hull City. The Ivory Coast-born player joined Köpenick six months back and netted once in seven Bundesliga matches during the previous season. At Hull City, the 28-year-old will go head-to-head with ex-HSV manager Tim Walter, who took charge there since the commencement of the season.

Union's sporting director Horst Heldt explained, "Chris didn't manage to fulfill the attacking role we anticipated and he himself wished for, leading to his limited game time. At Hull City, we aim to give Chris ample playing time and allow him to shine."

Chris is temporarily leaving his role at Union Berlin to pursue opportunities in the English League Championship with Hull City. His passion for soccer might find a new platform and more minutes on the pitch in England.
