Soccer - Union Berlin starts its pre-season preparations

The 1. FC Union Berlin starts this Monday into the preparation for the new season in the Football-Bundesliga. First, the players who did not play or were not with the national teams at the EM, have to undergo sports and medical tests. Training work starts under the new coach Bo Svensson from Tuesday.

The first test match is planned for Saturday against Regionalligist BSG Chemie Leipzig. Before the first mandatory game with the match in the first DFB-Pokal-Main Round on 17. August against Greifswalder FC, the Iron Ones will also align themselves for the new season with two training camps.

Summer Schedule

The 1. FC Union Berlin, a prominent Soccer Bundesliga club, is based in the vibrant city of Berlin. During their pre-season preparation, they will participate in several Soccer matches, including a test against Regionalligist BSG Chemie Leipzig. The new Coach Bo Svensson will commence training with the team on Tuesday, following their initial sports and medical assessments.
