Union Berlin as a blatant outsider at Bayern
After 16 competitive matches without a win, 1. FC Union Berlin now face one of the toughest away fixtures in the Bundesliga. On Saturday, the relegation-threatened team from Köpenick will face record champions Bayern Munich (3.30pm/Sky). Just three days after the sobering 1:1 in the Champions League at Braga, new coach Nenad Bjelica announced changes to his starting eleven. Attacker Sheraldo Becker and defender Danilho Doekhi are still missing through injury.
The Iron, who have taken just one point from Munich so far, were in 17th place before the matchday. Bayern are still unbeaten in the league and second in the table.
Despite their 16-match winless streak, 1. FC Union Berlin must tackle the formidable Bundesliga opponent, FC Bayern Munich. Regrettably, due to injuries, Sheraldo Becker and Danilho Doekhi will be absent from Union Berlin's squad against the record champions.
