Union Berlin and Hertha with last home games

Union Berlin will play its last Bundesliga match of the year on December 20. Kick-off on Wednesday evening is at 6.30 pm at the Stadion an der Alten Försterei against 1. FC Köln. This is according to the schedule published by the German Football League on Thursday for the Bundesliga season up to matchday 18. In addition to the clash against Cologne, the home match against Borussia Mönchengladbach has been scheduled for Saturday, December 9 (3.30 pm) and the match at VfL Bochum a week later, also at 3.30 pm.

The Iron start 2024 with two away games. On Saturday, January 13 (3:30 p.m.), the first half of the season will conclude with a match at SC Freiburg, while Union will open the second half of the season the following Friday (8:30 p.m.) with a game at FSV Mainz 05.

Hertha BSC will face 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the 2nd division on Saturday, December 9 (1 p.m.). VfL Osnabrück will visit the Olympiastadion on Saturday, December 16 (1 p.m.) to round off the year. The second half of the season begins for the Berliners with a home match against Fortuna Düsseldorf on Sunday, January 21 (1:30 p.m.).

Union Berlin's upcoming Bundesliga 2 opponents, 1st FC Union Berlin, will be playing their last match of the year against Union Berlin themselves on December 20, while Hertha BSC is currently in Bundesliga 2, preparing to face 1. FC Kaiserslautern on the same December 9, a day before Union Berlin's Bundesliga clash against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
