Uninvited guests get rowdy at 14-year-old's party
The birthday party of a 14-year-old girl escalated in the Leipzig district of Wahren on Saturday night. Originally, only a group of people in the low double-digit range were invited to the party, according to Leipzig police on Sunday. Over the course of the evening, however, more and more guests arrived at the family home until there were finally around 100 people at the party, they said.
According to the police, the people damaged the furnishings of the house, the greenhouse and a stone wall. Because they refused to leave, the teenager called the police. When the officers arrived, the people threw bottles in their direction. A parked car and an excavator were also reportedly damaged. No one was injured.
The police arrested several young people that evening and handed them over to their legal guardians. The officers have started an investigation.
The escalating party turned into a scene of crime with damaged furnishings, greenhouse, and a stone wall. Despite the large uninvited youth guests, no injuries were reported.
