Some mystery perpetrators swiped two brake control valves from a stationary train at Regensburg Central Station, leading to about €12,000 worth of damage. As a consequence, the train can no longer function, a Federal Police representative informed. A railway services business boss lodged a complaint on Sunday about enhanced theft. The locomotive was said to be firmly attached with a chain and lock. The Federal Police representative explained that a driver's brake valve serves as a group of valves that manage the air brakes, which are essential for the braking system.

The theft of the brake control valves from the train at Regensburg Central Station can be categorized as a serious form of crime. Due to this incident, the train is currently unable to operate, causing significant financial losses.
