Unemployment rises to 87,300 in Schleswig-Holstein
The number of unemployed people in Schleswig-Holstein rose to 87,300 in November. That is 1,300 more unemployed than in the previous month, the regional directorate of the Federal Employment Agency announced on Thursday. The unemployment rate is 5.5 percent after 5.2 percent in November last year.
"The labor market trend has weakened over the past few months," said the head of the regional directorate, Markus Biercher. Despite the strained economy, the labor market in Schleswig-Holstein remains stable.
The rise in unemployment could potentially impact the overall health of the Schleswig-Holstein labor market. Despite the strained economy, efforts to maintain labor market stability continue.
