In May, the amount of jobless citizens in Berlin dropped by approximately 533, landing at 199,760 individuals. This decrease led to a 0.3 percentage point decline in the unemployment rate, which is now 9.4%, based on information shared by the Federal Employment Agency for Berlin and Brandenburg on Tuesday. In contrast, a year ago, the rate stood at 8.9%. The data used for these stats ended on May 15th.
