Unemployed Advisory Council presents survey results
Experiences with the receipt of citizens' benefits will be discussed today in the Unemployed Parliament in Schwerin. The Unemployed Advisory Council of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern will present the results of a survey conducted anonymously among those affected. This will be followed by a discussion with representatives of the state government on the topic of "Survival with Citizen's Income".
Among other things, the Unemployed Advisory Council is calling for a meaningful poverty and wealth report from the state. The need for such statistics was also recently emphasized by Diakonie. The welfare organization presented its first position paper on poverty in October.
The survey results from the Unemployed Advisory Council highlight concerns within the labor market and social affairs of individuals receiving citizen's benefits. The discussion with state government representatives is expected to focus on improving the 'Survival with Citizen's Income.'
