UN-Court: Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories is unlawful

The ICC held a one-week session in February at the request of the United Nations, during which hearings took place on the consequences of the occupation since 1967. The UN General Assembly had already requested an non-binding "opinion" from the ICC in 2022 on the "legal consequences" arising from Israel's politics and practices in the occupied Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem.
