Ukrainian President Zelenskyy reveals over 2400 Russian guided bombs dropped on Ukraine since the start of this month.

Here's the paraphrased version of the text:

Following clean-up operations in Charikar on Sunday, an additional 53 individuals, including three minors, were reported injured due to four guided bomb attacks. Initially, Ukrainian officials and President Zelenskyy announced three fatalities after the Charikar assault. Subsequent to this, Zelenskyy shared on Telegram photos of a damaged multi-story building with a destroyed facade and a large crater in front.

A bystander, Dmytro, recounted his harrowing encounter, describing a room that was completely obliterated with nothing remaining. He was so terrified that his hands and voice were continuing to shake.

Recently, it was reported by the Russian newspaper "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" that Moscow has been deploying numerous guided bombs in Ukraine. These weapons can be launched both from the ground and from the air, and it is "almost impossible" to predict an attack before it occurs.

In a press statement, Zelenskyy claimed that Ukraine successfully destroyed a Russian rocket launcher near the border and secured the Charikar region as a result.

Charikar, the second-largest city in Ukraine, has been under constant artillery fire from Russian forces since the beginning of the armed conflict. In early May, the Russian military initiated a ground offensive in the region, resulting in significant territorial gains. Since then, the frequency of attacks on the city has increased.

Apart from the Charikar assault, Moscow launched attacks targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure throughout the night from Saturday to Sunday. In a southern region called Zaporizhzhia, an engineer lost his life during an attack on an energy facility. In the western Ukrainian region of Lviv, a fire broke out at a crucial infrastructure facility, according to regional governor Maxym Kozytskyy.

The Russian Defense Ministry declared on Saturday that troops had carried out an attack on Ukrainian energy facilities, "which supply the weapons production." Additionally, warehouses housing weapons received from the West were shelled. "All designated targets were hit."

Russia has been targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure since the onset of the armed conflict in February 2022, using rockets and drones to inflict power outages and energy shortages. According to Zelenskyy's accounts, Ukraine can now only produce half as much electricity as it did prior to the war.
