Two young Germans perished a few days following a landslide incident in Denmark.
Based on accounts, individuals on the beach tried to save them. Eventually, they were safely lifted by a helicopter to a hospital due to critical conditions.
The authorities classified it as a "regrettable incident". The two youths were on a family trip in Denmark.
In the southwestern region of Jutland, another boy was covered by a sand dune but was swiftly saved and sustained no injuries. The recent heavy rainfall had weakened the dunes.
Rescue teams in North Jutland warned vacationers about dune zones. They suggested being careful, avoiding marked trails, keeping an eye on kids, avoiding climbing steep dunes, and not digging holes in dunes.
Despite the warnings, the two siblings ignored the advice and ventured near the unstable dunes. Crossing over to Dune, they unfortunately became trapped.
