Two-year-old missing in Baden-Württemberg: emergency services continue search
On Sunday, around 180 emergency services from the police, fire department and other aid organizations had already searched in vain for the missing toddler from Hitzkofen, a district of Bingen. They also used a drone and sniffer dogs. According to the police, divers were also involved.
According to initial findings, the wanted little girl "presumably left her parents' house in Hitzkofen in an unobserved moment" on Sunday afternoon, officials announced on Monday. The criminal investigation department has taken over the investigation. The investigators also asked witnesses for information on the child's whereabouts. Bingen is located in the south-east of Baden-Württemberg in the district of Sigmaringen between Stuttgart and Constance.
