Two people were injured, one seriously, in a rear-end collision involving two smaller trucks on the A9 highway in the Roth district. A man in one vehicle collided with another that had stopped due to traffic on Friday, police reported. The driver of the rear vehicle was seriously injured, while the driver of the front vehicle sustained minor injuries. The extent of the damage is currently unknown. The A9 near Wendelstein heading towards Nuremberg was completely closed for more than an hour and a half.
