Two trucks have caught fire on a company grounds in the Landkreis Heidenheim at night. The police suspect arson and have taken up investigations, as a spokesperson stated. One of the trucks was loaded, the other empty.

The fire on the grounds of a wholesale dealer for cleaning products in Steinheim am Albuch did not spread to buildings. The firefighting efforts were still ongoing early on Thursday morning. The damage is estimated to be around approximately 170,000 Euros according to initial assessments.

The police in Baden-Württemberg are closely monitoring similar incidents of truck fires on company premises due to arson concerns. The company's security measures have been strengthened in response to the suspected arson. The police are still seeking any leads or witnesses in relation to this case of suspected arson.
