Accidents - Two traffic accidents and long road closure due to black ice
Suddenly appearing black ice led to two traffic accidents and an hour-long closure of the main road 308 near Oberstaufen (Oberallgäu district) on Wednesday afternoon. As the police reported in the evening, a coach slid into the back of a truck on the icy road. The 36 passengers were able to continue their journey on a replacement bus. Two hundred meters further on, a bus without passengers slid sideways into an oncoming truck. Nobody was injured in either accident. The main road between Hopfen and Oberstaufen had to be closed for five hours.
