Justice - Two suspects arrested after serious robbery in Neunkirchen
A 22-year-old man has become the victim of a serious robbery in Neunkirchen. The two suspected attackers, two men aged 18 and 21, were provisionally arrested following a manhunt, the police announced on Sunday. They had presumably pushed the 22-year-old to the ground late on Saturday evening, kicked him and stole his wallet. Criminal proceedings were initiated against both of them for aggravated robbery.
After being heard by a judge, an arrest warrant was issued for the 21-year-old. He was taken to a correctional facility. The 18-year-old was released on conditional release. Another 1.1 grams of hashish were found on one of the two men. Separate proceedings had been initiated against him.
The two men may have been involved in four other robberies in the city center of Neunkirchen since the end of November. The investigation is ongoing.
