Traffic accident - Two seriously injured after traffic accident

Two people have been seriously injured in a car accident on a main road near Dieburg. The road had to be fully closed for around an hour for accident investigation and rescue operations, police said on Saturday. A 35-year-old driver had switched from the right to the left lane immediately after driving onto the road. There he collided with a 54-year-old driver. The 35-year-old and his 31-year-old passenger were taken to hospital with serious injuries. The 54-year-old did not suffer any injuries. The damage was estimated at around 20,000 euros.
