In the northwest of North Rhine-Westphalia, two motorcyclists were seriously injured by cars turning left. In Wesel, a 91-year-old woman failed to see an oncoming 21-year-old motorcyclist while turning left on Tuesday evening, causing him to crash and sustain severe injuries, according to police. The woman then fled the scene but was apprehended by witnesses.

The second incident occurred around the same time in Dinslaken: There, a 41-year-old driver also failed to see an oncoming motorcyclist while turning left, causing the 28-year-old to crash and be severely injured. He was then taken to a hospital.

In Dinslaken, the 41-year-old driver's negligence led to a collision with an oncoming motorcyclist, requiring the motorcyclist to seek treatment in a hospital. Meanwhile, the car on North Rhine-Westphalia's roads was involved in an accident, injuring two motorcyclists due to a left turn.
