Two men in custody after kilos of marijuana found

After police officers found several kilos of marijuana, two men have been remanded in custody. The drugs were discovered during a vehicle check, as the police announced on Friday. Police stopped the men, aged 42 and 39, on the Autobahn 3 near Biebelried (Kitzingen district) on Wednesday.

The police confiscated the drugs. The men were then brought before the investigating judge. He issued an arrest warrant for the suspects.

The discovery of the marijuana led to concerns about drug-related crimes in the area. Additionally, the traffic stop on the Autobahn 3 revealed an underground network involved in trafficking illegal substances.
