Two 15-year-olds were caught driving a stranger's pickup truck without permission in the area around Sommerach (Kitzingen district) and ended up in a ditch. The two teens reportedly took turns driving the vehicle on Sunday. The pickup sustained approximately €3,000 in damages.

The vehicle was found in the ditch near the woods that morning, despite not being registered, the owner was identified. They hadn't even noticed the vehicle was missing.

In the afternoon, the two boys came to the police station with their parents, admitting to the unauthorized joyride. The two minors are being investigated for, among other things, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving without a license.

The accident led to the pickup being found in a ditch, causing significant damages. Due to the incident, the teens were held accountable for their actions.
