Two drivers have been injured in an accident on the Autobahn 1 near Dinklage in the district of Vechta. On Thursday evening, a 38-year-old man from Warendorf in North Rhine-Westphalia was driving his car in the left lane of the highway in the direction of Osnabrück, police said on Friday. He wanted to change to the middle lane due to roadworks and slowed down. A 19-year-old driver behind him noticed this too late and rear-ended him. Both men sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital by ambulance.
