Fires - Two injured in apartment fire in Herne

Two people have been injured in an apartment fire in Herne. The 85-year-old owner of the apartment and a 55-year-old resident were taken to nearby hospitals, the police in Bochum announced on Sunday. The fire broke out on the first floor of the apartment building early on Saturday morning. The cause is still unclear and is being investigated.
