Traffic accidents - Two injured in accident on slippery road
Two people have been injured in an accident on a slippery road near Kastorf (Herzogtum Lauenburg district). According to initial findings, an 18-year-old woman overtook three cars in a bend on the B208 on Tuesday afternoon, which were driving at reduced speed due to slippery conditions and snowfall, police said on Wednesday.
When the young woman swerved back into her lane, she skidded and slid into the oncoming lane. There she collided head-on with the oncoming car of a 54-year-old man. The 18-year-old was seriously injured in the accident, the 54-year-old was slightly injured. The damage to property is estimated at around 35,000 euros.
