Two people were injured in a fire at a vacation home in Celle early on Sunday morning. The cause of the fire is unclear, the police announced on Sunday. When the emergency services arrived, the house was already fully engulfed in flames and two people had to be pulled out of the house.

Celle - Two injured after vacation home fire

Two people were injured in a fire at a vacation home in Celle early on Sunday morning. The cause of the fire is unclear, the police announced on Sunday. When the emergency services arrived, the house was already on fire and two people had to be taken out of the house.

A 65-year-old woman was seriously injured by the fire and smoke. She and an 81-year-old man, who was moderately injured, had to be taken to hospital after being treated by the emergency services. There was also property damage of around 100,000 euros. The investigation is ongoing.
