In the Bavarian region, a tragic accident took place on a curvy road close to Beilngries, falling under the jurisdiction of Eichstaett. A 58-year-old fella allegedly ventured into the path of incoming traffic, setting the stage for a head-on crash with a 66-year-old lady's car, as per the cops' statement from Sunday. The elderly gent found himself pinned inside his vehicle, but was eventually freed by the firefighters. Both were rushed to the hospital post-incident.
